A Good Habit to Acquire-How to Tuck in Your Bed Sheets

Many people will bend their back over to tuck in their bed sheet. It's not good to do that. Your lower back muscles will stress out.

 

When you are tucking in your bed sheets, bend one of your knees to the ground and then tuck in your bed sheets. This stabilizes your lower back muscles.  

This something that you do everyday, tucking in your bed sheets. It's not an exercise. Most of the examples that I am showing are movements you do every day. It's not an exercise. Most people hate doing exercises

A Habit To Acquire-When Washing Your Face/Brushing Teeth

How you wash your face in front of the bathroom sink can cause lower back problems. Many people, when they are washing their face are bending there back over which causes stress on your lower back.

Your lower back has no support when you are bending over the sink. How can you avoid that stress on your lower back?

When you bend over as you wash your face, let your knees bend up against the two lower doors as you bend over to wash your face keep your knees up against the two doors until you straighten up your back. 

Repeat the process over when you bend over again to wash or rinse off your face. This is something that you do every day. It's not an exercise. 

You can do the same thing when you brush your teeth, Bend both knees against the cabinet door or place your free hand on the counter sink as you brush your teeth for support to your lower back. 

This something that you do every day. It's not an exercise.

Another Habit To Acquire- Doing the Wall Squat

Let your back lean up against a wall in your room. Let your back be flat up against the wall with your feet about 5 inches from the wall at a 35/40 degree angle.

 

When you are set up, take a deep breath, then let your back slide down about 4 to 6 inches and hold it for 5 seconds and straighten up your back. Repeat the process about 15 times- two, three times a day

This movement will tighten and stabilize your stomach and your lower back muscles and provides relief to your lower back soreness. Wear a shirt for this exercise. This movement is great to do when your lower back aches due to sitting for a long time at your computer or when eating. Try it. This is something that you do every day, sitting down for whatever reason at home or at work.

Another Habit To Acquire- Picking Up Objects

When you bend down to pick up paper or an object from the floor, make sure you bend one of your knees and place one of your hands on your bended knee and pick up the object with the other hand. This will support and stabilized your lower back muscles from being stress out.

If you are picking up a box, you need to bend both knees to pick up the box

You will have many opportunities each day to pick up something from the floor, be it paper or a toy. It's not an exercise. It's something that you do every day.

Another Habit To Acquire-Opening Up Lower Doors

When you are bending down to open a draw or cabinet door, make sure Both of your knees are bended at an angle.

If your searching for objects in cabinet door, pots and pans, let one knee rest on the floor and the other knee bended toward the open draw or cabinet door as shown below. 

This too will support and stabilized your lower back muscles from being stress out. This is something that you do every day. It's not an exercise. It's a good habit to remember.
