During trolling, the boat moves as silently as possible over the surface of the water. The reason for this is that you do not want to disturb the fish. In rare cases, it can be done as you move along the shore. However, that is done only by the experts. Regardless of where you are conducting it, the bait you use must be specific for the species of fish you are trying to catch.
