Instead of the phrase "falling away" in 2 Thess. 2:3-4,, it should have been translated as "rebellious stand".  The rebellious stand by the anti-Christ must come first.  Right off the bat, the "pre-trib" teaching is proven false.  The two witnesses (Elijah and Enoch) will testify against the anti-Christ for 3 ½ years.  They will be killed by the anti-Christ, and then arise from the dead after 84 hours of lying unburied in the street, before being called back to Heaven.  This should occur the first evening of the sighting of the renewed Moon, denoting the Day of Trumpets, in the year 2022 AD.  They both will give their report to the High Priest, which is Yeshua.

It is more than foolish to think that the saints will be raptured to Heaven before the two witnesses.  Yeshua would come after receiving and verifying their report, then come to Earth in the clouds with His angels to kill the armies of the anti-Christ, and gather His elect.  This should occur after the blowing of trumpets, announcing the beginning of the seventh month called Tishri.  I would think that the "pre" and "mid" tribulation believers will be the ones betraying other believers, thinking that there will not be a rapture, or disappointed that they weren't "taken away before things got too hot".  They would be unprepared for the trial by fire that the saints must go through, and succumb to the mark of the beast.

During the second Temple period, when the renewed Moon was sighted in the evening, two witnesses were chosen to enter into the Temple gates.  The High Priest would say "Come up hither"!  After their testimony, if the priest believed their report, the order would be given to "Sound the trumpet"!  At the end of the sixth month, this qualification was for the moadim called "The Day of Trumpets"!  The month of Tishiri had begun.

The temple in Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and the anti-Christ will desecrate it, and declare himself to be "god".  Both Elijah and Enoch will be overcome and killed by the anti-Christ, after their 3 ½ year testimony is finished.  Their bodies will not be buried.  Revelation chapter eleven says that their bodies will lie in the street for 3 ½ days.  Yet the rest of the narrative sounds like the moadim of the Day of Trumpets, and the beginning of the First Resurrection.  The moadim of the Day of Trumpets is the only feast that occurs "on a day that no man knows".  We don't know if it is going to be 29 days after the start of the sixth month, or if it will be 30 days .  That's why everyone just has to "wait and be ready".

As far as speaking of the resurrections, first it was Jesus, then the first fruits (24 Elders), then it's the rapture of the saints, then the final resurrection, when all of mankind, from Creation Week till Satan is cast in the Lake, is resurrected to face the White Throne Judgment.  In1 Corinthians 15:52, it says: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."  Here is where I say certain preachers are liars.  What concerning "at the last trump" don't they understand?  No more trumpets are going to be blown before the rapture takes places.  We have eight angels with seven trumpets which are blown in the book of Revelation, while the tribulation period is in full swing.  Those false teachers would have to have an evil agenda in order to overlook "at the last trump".

In Revelation chapter eleven, the eighth angel sounds the seventh trumpet, which is after the two witnesses are resurrected, and are called to Heaven to give their report to the High Priest (Yeshua).  Again, this looks very much like the sighting of the renewed Moon for the Day of Trumpets, where two witnesses would be called up into the Temple to give their report of what they saw to the High Priest.

At the second coming of Yeshua (2022 AD?), swords come out of Yeshua's mouth and kill the armies of the anti-Christ at the first battle of Armageddon.  Satan is bound for 1,000 years, and the saints are raptured and judged in Heaven.  Those that are deemed worthy shall be assigned to rule the universes that the rebel angels vacated when they fought against God.  The other saints shall live in the New Jerusalem, once Yeshua returns a third time (with all His saints) after the thousand years of peace are finished, and Lucifer is loosed from the bottomless pit for seven years, causing Gog and Magog to fight against Israel, and to cause evil one last time.  But that is reason to rejoice, for it is Lucifer's last stand, as discussed in Part 3.
