The Battle Of Self Discipline

Creating a stronger version of yourself, spiritually, mentally and physically requires a tremendous amount of energy and self-discipline.  Maybe, the best things in life are forged in the heat of opposition and in the flames of discomfort. A pampered delusion of a life apart from difficulty, has caused many to drown in a sea of escapism. The harsh burden of life on planet earth causes many to pass the blame, never standing up to take responsibility for the results of their own actions.  Unhinged emotions, brainwashed to believe that  one is entitled to be first, have the most, out perform the rest, simply because one is alive.

Some of us have been nursed on the breast of entitlement,  and schooled in the arena of everyone is a winner. It doesn't matter if one shows up late, and fails to try, the crucifixion of common sense, gave way for the resurrection of politically correct fantasy. The greatness of human potential is bound in shackles because the lowest common denominator of effort, is stamped excellent and many lack the self discipline to even explore the possibility that there is greater potential within.

Stuck in the cubicle of settling for less than, when just outside of the everyday mundane, boring and ordinary is total greatness. Your greatness.

We can achieve so much more than we believe. Yes, we all have some type of gifting or talents but rarely do we maximize them. In fact, one can be very gifted and tremendously talented but with out the discipline of self discipline, self destruction usually intensifies.

I believe that true greatness only shines when it is tethered to self-discipline.

Self-discipline should not be shunned like an old relic that was  okay for generations past as though the Ancient of Days  would not understand modern societal needs. We all need to make an investment in self-discipline. Allow me to shine a small ray of proof.

Do you have a problem that simply will not go away only because you refuse to say no, and mean no to yourself? Have you ever been caught in a doubled minded struggle between what you know you should do, and what you actually do? Have you ever engaged in the double hearted wavering between total conviction, and  total submission? Do you battle between working hard and hardly working?  I am sure we have all been there, but now is our time to battle for and conquer with self-discipline.

It is a war, fight for it until you win!
