It's been a busy week for T-Mobile with announcements regarding their devices. In addition to launching the new Windows 10 phone, the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL, T-Mobile announced that the LG K7, which was released last month, will be available for sale online. The device is available for $139.99 full price, without contract or for $0 down, $5.84 for 24 months on contract. Boost Mobile is also selling the device however, instead of being known as the K7, the device is known as the Tribute 5.

Originally announced at CES 2016 last month, the LG K7 sports a 5 inch screen with an 854 x 480 display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The budget handset also offers users a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front facing camera as well as 4G LTE capability, 1.5 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage, and a 2,125 mAh battery.

Not only has T-Mobile introduced new phones, they also introduced the ZTE Falcon, which arrived earlier than previously announced. The ZTE Falcon is a 4G LTE mobile hotspot which supports 10 simultaneous device connections. The hotspot supports UMTS 850/1700/2100/1900 and LTE bands 2, 4, and 12. The device has a 2,000 mAh battery and is available for $79.99 full retail or $0 down, 23 monthly payments of $3.34 and 1 payment of $3.17.

Although the LG K7 does not sound anywhere near as exciting as the upcoming LG G5, it does provide decent specifications given its price tag. The K7 is part of a larger family that encompasses the LG K4 and the K10 and the design is typical for LG however, it does not offer the same grandeur as the company's higher end models.

So if you are in the market for a cheap, lower-end smartphone, consider dropping by a T-Mobile store or looking on their website at the LG K7. If the K7 isn't exactly what you're looking for, that's okay because the Windows 10 operating Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL was also announced this week and provides decent specifications slightly different from the K7 for virtually the same price. T-Mobile's busy week of announcements offers customers different options based on their needs so hopefully, you find what you're looking for.
