Review : Kaki – Routine but OK

story:-

Karthik (Ashok) and Deepthi (Sri Megha) are NRIs who install the US. One day they land in Vizag with their friend Kiran (Kiran Pattikonda) to oversee their factory to old problems and their guest in the village as their base.Busy with his other works, Karthik leaves the city and Deepthi left alone in the bungalow. Things take a turn when some evil forces begin to attack Keerthi. These forces enter the body of the daughter of the caretaker and begin to irritate Keerthi great time.Who are these forces of evil? What they have to do with Keerthi and her husband? How the couple out of this delicate situation? Which forms the rest of the story.

Plus Points: -

Major as well as points of the film is the opening scene, Bang interval and the peak. The procedures of stars blow with a superb touch and continues with some good suspense elements up to the interval. The comedy scenes that come during this time was well executed.After an interesting interval point, the film takes a serious turn and many twists are revealed during this time. Part pre-climax was also well designed and the horror comedy that comes to this point is pretty good. Kiran, who has the role of a friend is good in his character and evokes good comedy.Baby Yuvina by Performance is superb and gels well with the film. Ashok is quite impressive in its performance and were therefore Megha Lanka and Nassar. Jayasudha is quite good in his cameo.

Negative points: -

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is the old line of the old story. A haunted bungalow, several characters enter the scene, and a haunted ghost with a flashback, we saw these stories many times. Once twists are revealed, the film becomes quite predictable.Post bang the meantime, the pace of the film bogs down some unnecessary scenes are central. Too much time was spent on the episode flashback. Logic disappears in many scenes that policymakers have taken too much freedom.

Technical aspects: -

Camera work is quite impressive and all the points should go to the cameraman to present the film in different modes. Background score by Amrit is decent and good student film.Coming to the director Manon, he did a decent job for his first film. The way he presented an ordinary decent story with horror and thrilling elements speak of his talent. Editing was below average as many scenes in the flashback would have been edited out.

Verdict:-

Overall, Kaki is a routine thriller, but ok. Although there is nothing new in terms of history and performance, they way it has been reported with some nice elements make a fair show for fans of horror movies this weekend.
