Superheroes are in trend now-a-days. A super hero is a fictional character who has extraordinary, superhuman powers and characteristics and generally has a certain goal to achieve. Earlier these heroes were limited to the comic world but now we can find many movies based on these superheroes. So here I have come up with 10 comic superheroes who hold a very strong position in the fictional world.
Superman: He is one of the most famous comic super heroes, appears in American comic books published by DC comics. This hero was invented by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster in 1933. His blue costume, red cape and an iconic red and yellow 'S' shield on his chest make him easily recognizable.
Batman: Another very famous comic super hero! Batman too appears in American comic books by DC comics. He is a creation of artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger. Batman's secret identity is Bruce Wayne, an American billionaire, playboy, philanthropist, and owner of Wayne Enterprises. He witnessing the murder of his parents as a child, and thereafter swore to take a revenge on the criminals.
Spiderman: Yet another famous fictional super hero, with very unique super powers. He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. He is a creation of writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko. He is an orphan who is raised by Aunt May and Uncle Ben and had to face many problems during his teenage. He can cling to any surface, shoot spider webs anywhere and can react to the situations very quickly.
Ironman: He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. The character was created by writer and Editor Stan Lee, developed by scripter Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. Basically an American billionaire boy named Tony Stark goes through a chest surgery and in order to save his life comes up with this amazing super natural armor.
Wonder Woman
She appears in American comic books published by DC comics. She was created by the American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston. She is a warrior princess from the Amazons and is also known as Princess Diana of Themyscira. She is gifted with super human powers and has the magical Lasso of truth, an indestructible bracelet and an iconic tiara.
Captain America He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. He was invented by cartoonists Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. He carries with him an indestructible shield which helps him fight the enemies. His physical appearance as a hero and as a field commander is outstanding.
Hulk
He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby came up with this extra ordinary character. He is a large green humanoid with extraordinary strength. As his anger increases, his powers also increase. His strength and stamina are highly durable.
Wolverine: He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. He was invented by writer Len Wein and Marvel art director John Romita. He is a master in martial arts, has regenerative powers, has animal like attributes and super natural senses. He has an Adamantium-plated skeletal structure and retractable claws.
Thor: He appears in American comic books published by Marvel comics. He is a creation of editor-plotter Stan Lee, scripter Larry Lieber, and penciller-plotter Jack Kirby. He posses superhuman strength, speed and endurance. The most interesting part about this character is his hammer which is called Mjolnir, which is the main source of his strength.
Spawn: He is an anti-hero published in a monthly comic published by image comics. He is invented by writer/artist Todd McFarlane. He is immortal, has various superhuman powers and is shown as a demonic figure. He posses a power to resurrect.
