Human nature won't give up and will keep on introducing new ways and trends. Be it related to technology, eatery, health and fitness or any other scope of life. A glimpse to back this statement can be seen in the world of information technology and the telecom industry. Things have turned upside down and communication that was based and relies on huge machines for transmission is now a toy sitting on your palm. Yes, mobile phones have made it ever so simple for people to communicate with each other. Not only that, mobile phones in the contemporary age, also known as smartphones are loaded with different applications. Android however is the key behind the escalating demands in these smartphones that are almost irresistible. They have become an active partner in our day to day life and are used to perform many job orients, office, navigation and socializing tasks.

What Does The Future Hold?

Being an active market researcher and capitalizing on both online and offline research materials, I realized that this technology is not going anywhere for the next decade or so. Improvements will be there, that will make it further advanced and helpful for users. I was going through Google Trends for Mobile Apps and Apps development and out of curiosity, I just selected trends for the last 7 days and the results were shocking. The bar was showing 100%, which clearly makes the situation, prominent as in where are we standing now and what can be predicted for the future? Let's incorporate the dynamic trends with a dynamic market, Dubai would be a good choice here when it comes to busy market trends. Experts believe that mobile app development Dubai will be touching the sky in the next couple of years, when it comes to demands for mobile applications. The focus and preference, however, would be Apps that would be helpful in assisting with daily office tasks and job related assistance. This is simply because Dubai is known as an international business hub where businesses from all over the world reside and operate.

"Will I be left behind?" To see what the general public has to say, I decided to carry out a public survey via email. The responses were pretty much in line with what I was expecting. Around 40 people participated in the survey and the survey questionnaire that was forwarded to them is mentioned below:

  • Do you have a mobile phone?
  • Is it a basic mobile phone or smartphone?
  • Are you happy with the mobile applications installed on your smart phone?
  • Do you think that there is further room for improvements in the Mobile Apps?
  • Are you open for the upgrades and changes will come in the near future in the mobile phone industry?

Thank you for participating!!

The responses enabled me to have a clear picture, although the sample size was not that big. The bit was good enough to give us an idea about how people working in Dubai look at it?

Do You Have A Mobile Phone?

All the 40 respondents replied 'yes' to this question.

Is It A Basic Mobile Phone Or Smartphone?

31 respondents reported that they own a smartphone while 9 people were those who were using a basic mobile phone.

Are You Happy With The Mobile Applications Installed On Your Smart Phone?

The 21 respondents answer was positively in reply to this question while 19 people said that although they have got a smartphone but they are unfamiliar with most of the apps that are installed on their phone.

Do You Think That There Is Further Room For Improvements In The Mobile Apps?

All the respondents' reply was 'yes' in response to this question.

Are You Open For The Upgrades And Changes To Come In The Near Future In The Mobile Phone Industry?

To my surprise, I was shocked, as for this particular question I thought the reply would be different and I will come across replies that would show worry about the drastic changes that would be here in no time. But, the reply from the participants was that they are open to all the changes, although it may take them some time to get used to the added features and mobile apps but if there are to be added then there must be some benefits. So, why not to upgrade ourselves and cope with the changing trends rather than ignore it and are left behind.

Here one must not forget that the responses were from people who are performing in Dubai markets. This shows us a glimpse of what the future holds when it comes to mobile app development Dubai.
