Story: -
Harsha (Mahesh Babu) is the son of a multimillionaire named Ravikanth (Jagapathi Babu). It is quite simple in life and ideologies different actions to his father. One day, he meets Charusheela (Shruthi Haasan) and gradually falls in love with her.Twist in the tale arises when Charusheela rejects the proposal of Harsha and reveals a shocking truth about his homeland and its problems. Harsha an upset, now fixed on a personal mission of his village and encounter Sasi (Sampath) and his band that troubled time great villagers.Rest of the story is how the personal mission of Harsha is a revolution and help the villagers grow and prosper in the future.

Start by talking about Srimanthudu emotional content. The film is quite heavy on moral values and give back to society. The credit goes to Koratla Shiva to paste the content and sending a strong message around the hero character. Mahesh is majestic in his role and gives his best career performance. Its role is tailor made and Mahesh carries the entire film on his shoulders. He looks dashing as a student and how he brings out varied emotions in the second half is a class apart.Shruthi Haasan gets a meaty role and is quite suitable in the film. His pairing with Mahesh fresh air and brings novelty to the film. Jagapathi Babu is a royal in his role and gives the added benefit to the film. The way his character is engraved and all its confrontation scenes with Mahesh are superb.First half of the film is very dynamic and very chic times. Second half underlying emotional and Koratala Shiva manages to bring out superb performances of its artists. Rajendra Prasad is lovely in his character. The film's production values are very good and show the film in a rich light.
Negative points: -
One drawback of the film is the rhythm that procedures have their own time. There are some village scenes that have been modified to make the film crispy. Even if the story is quite new, it is also unpredictable in nature.Sukanya is wasted in his role and gets no screen space. Ali and Vennela Kishore are underutilized and could be higher to generate animations. climax of the film is ran that procedures are wrapped in a simpler way.
Technical aspects:-
Scenario is fit, but some scenes during the second half could have been removed to make the procedure racy.Camerawork Madhie is first class all the air visually quite nice. The way he presented the village atmosphere during the second half is pretty good. Fighting Anal Arsu need special mention as they look quite new and were choreographed with great style.DSP music is pretty good and grows on you when you look at his songs on screen. But it is the Devi background score that elevates the film to another level. Dialogues are new and will be in contact with the common man quite easilyComing to the Director Koratala Shiva, he did an awesome job and Mahesh presented like never before. The way he revealed consistent performance and Mahesh present in an emotional avatar is very endearing. Shiva says the film without unnecessary commercial and injects some meaningful family moments that will surely go well with everyone.

Overall, Srimanthudu is an amazing emotional family drama that will hit the right chords with everyone. career best performance Mahesh Babu and a new concept are huge assets. Except nature unpredictable film, Mahesh fans can rejoice that their superstar is back with a vengeance and entertains the outset thoroughly. Finally, a simple artist, clean and significant family which is set to rule the box office in the coming weeks. A must watch.
