Story: -
Arjun (Karthik Jayaram) is a popular artist wife Shilpa (Sree Mukhi) and lives happily in a beautiful bungalow which was once the residence of the famous painter Ravi Verma (Girish Karnad).As time passes, Shilpa is constantly distracted by painting a beautiful woman Chandrika (Kamna Jethmalani) and some unusual scenes begin to take place in the bungalow. Twist in the tale comes when Arjun is that the place is haunted and his wife is under the influence of Chandrika.Who is this Chandrika? How is it related to the bungalow and Shilpa? Arjun will be able to save his wife from the evil spirit? Which forms the rest of the story.

The first 15 minutes of the film absorbs the story begins with an interesting point. A couple of thrilling scenes in the first half go well with the public.The glamor quotient of female drivers is the main attraction in the film. Sreemukhi tried his best to impress the audience and succeeded to some extent.Kamna Jethmalani made a decent job and is eye-candy during songs and romantic scenes. veteran actor Girish Karnad rendered full justice to his role.

The hero character is a big disadvantage for the film. He has no scope to display his acting skills. There is rarely a scene in the movie that will scare the public and make them feel they are watching a horror movie.The line of routine history is a big disadvantage for the film. The plot of the movie is just a mixture of many horror films that have arisen in recent years. Apart from the first 15 minutes, none of the scenes in both halves to create an interest in the public.The snail pace narration is also a big disappointment that many scenes take unreasonable time to complete. Many characters unnoticed because they are not used to their full potential. There is no entertainment despite comedians like Satyam Rajesh Ramesh and Thaguboothu
Technical aspects :-
As previously mentioned, the film's story is written by trafficking references many horror thrillers that released recently. Director Yogesh fails completely to keep things interesting with its predictable and slow narration.Image K. Rajendra Babu is neat and some songs look good on screen. Composer Gunvanth done an OK job with his music, but the background score is not up to the mark. Dialogues have hardly any effect on the proceedings. Production values are decent.
Verdict: -
Overall, Chandrika fails to impress the audience because of its routine story line and the slow narration. The glamor quotient of female drivers is the only positive point of this film that ends as a horror drama fear.
