Steps to cook coconut chutney

Take oil in a pan and heat it. Now add some mustard seeds. When the seeds splutter, add the cumin seeds and urad dal to it. Fry till the urad dal turns brown in colour.

Now start adding curry leaves along with red chili and asafoetida. Let this mixture fry for a minute. Now pour this tempering on the coconut chutney.
