History:-
The film's story is based in a native village in Andhra and is located in the middle of the family of the late Bangara Raju (Nagarjuna). The film opens with the son of Bangara Raju, again played by Nagarjuna and his wife (Lavanya) that are about to get a divorce. The couple reach their native village and confront their problem Bangara Raju's wife Satya (Ramya Krishna).A Satya upset locks himself in the room and confronted with a huge portrait of her late husband. Satya reveals that she has landed with enormous problems after his death and pleads him to do something about it. Rest of the story is how a Bangara Raju dead back to life and solves all the problems of his family.
Plus Points: -
It is so good to see Nagarjuna in an author backed role after such a long period. Soggade Nagarjuna is a showman of the script, character and appearance suits his real life persona great time. Nagarjuna is at his wittiest best and floors the audience with his looks and mesmerizing act. He showed good variation in both his roles and his chemistry with Ramya Krishna and Lavanya is simply beautiful.
Yet another core strength of the film is the orientation of the family that will be connected to everyone. The rustic places, delicate romance and feel good songs, which are a rare sight in this day and age have been well executed. Ramya Krishna is superb in his role and looks gorgeous, even at this age.
The credit goes to the director for burning on all roles in a beautiful way. Each character has equal importance and how they gel with the story line is pretty good. Lavanya is capable in its role and brings a decent effect to the procedure with its traditional avatar.Anasuya impressive in its appearance and has amazing screen presence. First half of the film is lively and has good feelings of the family and comedy. Nasser and Sampath are decent in their roles.
Negative points: -
Point of the conflict of the film is a bit simple and has nothing more interesting to offer. Rhythm of the film during the second half falls a bit like some scenes left out in the main plot.Although Brahmanandam is good, some of the scenes in the first half have been edited. The film's plot is quite predictable and once the twist is revealed, the process bogged down. Even though the film is quite entertaining in the first half, the real history that the kickoff of the second half.
Technical aspects: -
Music of the film is extremely impressive that all the songs are very soothing and were also shot very well. The production values are top quality and excellent camera work only adds to the great visuals village. Dialogues are original and depending on the mood of the film as well. Film script is simple enough that policymakers played to the galleries and added scenes that will be loved by one and all.
Coming to the Director Kalyan Krishna, he did a great job with the film. From the first image, it attracts your attention with a healthy entertainment and Nagarjuna presents an entertaining way. Although its history is quite simple, the way he narrated the film with the emotions of decent family is what makes it tick film.
Verdict:-
Whenever Nagarjuna did entertain roles, the films have always clicked. Same is the case with Soggade Chinni Nayana who is an artist of the complete family. Live Wire Nagarajuna performance and some of the emotions run very cleanly family are enormous assets for this film. Except slow during the second half, the film ends like a nice show for each section of the audience this Sankranthi season.
