Plus Points: -
Story of the film is quite good and is located in a very contemporary way. Naga Shourya looks good and works well in his character. It is especially good in all emotional scenes in the film. But it is Palak Lalwani who walks away with the cake. She is beautiful and gives a magnificent performance in the film. She had a very difficult role to portray and plays with great ease and sincerity. The emotional bond is presented between Naga Shourya and his parents was well managed. Veteran actor Mohan is good in his role and brings a lot of depth to the film. Rao Ramesh is superb in his negative role. The friendship between Naga Shourya presented and Palak was well executed.
Negative points: -
One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is unclear. Although the idea is good history, policymakers have failed to rise and recount some aspects in an appropriate manner. The behavior of the hero after his break and how much it will leave much to be desired.Too melodramatic at points creating a negative impact on the film. The character of Pragathi a step mum is not well written. Policy makers had engraved on certain roles well, the output would have been even better.Rao Ramesh Transformation 'during the second half seems irrelevant. The songs are major obstacles in the film. Just when you think the movie is about to get more, a song breaks out and goes on your nerves.
Technical aspects: -
Abbaitho Ammai is quite good in the technical department. Camera work is top quality and how different angles and frameworks have been set up is superb. Visuals and production values are top quality and present the film in a colorful note. Dialogues are nearly correct and is therefore the score back to the ground. Ilayaraja's music is decent enough, but at least two songs could be changed easily.Coming to the director Ramesh Varma, his idea of the story is good, but the way he performed the film is a little below par. But what is good in his direction is that the way he liked mature emotions during the second part and theclimax.
Verdict:-
Overall, Abbaitho Ammayi is a film that has some interesting moments from his path. Line of contemporary history and heartful emotions are basic assets. On the other hand, a lack luster scenario excessive songs and spoil the mood a little. Youth can find a taste for this film, but otherwise, it ends up an average case this week.
