Docplexus earn most of its revenue from Pharmaceuticals marketing and event marketing. Their future plan is to incorporate other revenue generation module such as online job posting, monetizing doctors and others.
Market Competition
Docplexus.in competes with Daily Rounds, Curofy and PlexusMD in doctor networking space while its biggest competitor in the doctor-patient interaction segment is Practo. However, despite severe market competition around 15% medical community currently uses this platform.
The Funding
Recently this Pune based startup raised a funding of over 4.6 crore from 'Unicorn Ventures' and Austria-based 'ASP Consulting' which is likely to be spent over product, team building and expansion plans.
Launched in 2014 by Phanish Chandra, Docplexus has grown to become one of the leading doctor networking space in the country.
