We are living on a planet where the life and taste change frequently. No doubt the fashion industry has broken all boundaries of past trend; the same is true for floral trends. Although we grow a large variety of different plants in different season, but our love and their popularity do not change, with the change in time and change of season.

Flowers are the best gift of nature to us and are also the best thing to gift to others. While growing plant in any season the time is the first thing that comes to our mind. Every flowering plant grows in the different season and consists a different adjusting capacity with regards to the environment where they are planted. 

 

Thus, it becomes necessary to know all about the flower season, plant life span their need before growing them in your pot or garden. However, the change in climatic and the season play a significant role in the development of plant sapling and time of blooming.

Most of the flowers and plants are season – specific. all the plants grow, develop and die in four different seasons on earth-Summer, Winter Autumn and spring. The flowers &its seasons are intimately connected with each other.

While some flowers are found throughout the year, there is plant who are not affected by the changing in seasons like as Asiatic Lily, Chrysanthemum, Bourvardia, Gerbera Daisy, Lily, Aster, Carnation,  Alstromeria, and   Anthurium,

 

Summer Flowers

Summer is well known for its warm and hot weather condition. The most flowering plant grows well during the summer season. The Northern hemisphere feels maximum heat in the month of June, July, and August, whereas the Southern hemisphere, feel the heat in the month of December - February.

The Flowers blooming during the summer season are:

 

Sunflower, Spider lily, Bela, Dahlia, Freesia, Cockscomb, Cosmos, Chrysanthemum, Bird of Paradise, oleander, Bougainvillea, Calla lily, Dianthus, Euphorbia, Gladiolus, Campanula,Hypericum,Portulaca,Foxglove,Gardenia,Carnation,Ginger,Allium.Woodrose and Zinnia.

 

Winter Flowers

Winter is the season of cold weather. The season needs extra care, but there are certain plants which specially bloom from December - February in the Northern hemisphere. Whereas, In the Southern hemisphere winter falls during June - August.

Some of the best winter flowers are:

Asiatic Lily, Amaryllis, Roses, Cyclamen, Evergreens, Orchid, Ginger, Gerbera Daisy, Holly berry, Lily, Pansy, Phlox, Star of Bethlehem and Helleborus.

 

Autumn Flowers

Autumn is the season of harvesting. Autumn starts from September - November in the Northern hemisphere, and from September - November in the region of Southern hemisphere. Crops are harvested during Autumn. This is also the season where the beautiful leaves change their color.

Spring Flowers

Spring season is the time of growth and renewal in plant and animal life. Spring appears  at different times in the region of South and North hemispheres. Spring starts in northern hemisphere between March - May, and from September - November in the place of Southern hemisphere.

 Flowers that Blooms in Spring season are:
