If you bake your meal that great, and I hope you bake your food to perfection and not to a perfect crisp, he he but just remember ever cook had burn a meal or two just keep trying:).

1. Will you fill your sink up half way with LUKEWARM WATER NOT COLD and little bit of soap. Now the water does not have to be soapy but just mildly soapy to really get any burnt or caked on food to loosen up and clean easily.

2. Now your going to take your SUPER HOT SKILLET and SUDMERGE IT  IN THE WATER. Now the hot skillet and lukewarm water will make it easy to really clean and scrub your skillet WITH OUT YOU burning your self.

3. Once you have clean the skillet dry your cast iron skillet with a towel and then put your skillet on the stove top on medium heat. Heat for about 1-2 min just to get it completely dry. Oh yeah be careful the skillet is hot now.

(Quick Side Tip: Is that you use the stove top to completely dry your cast iron skillet with out adding any oil to it, Why? Because adding oil around the whole skillet and putting it on the stovetop could start a potential fire in your home.)

So you want to take a brush that you used to marinate the chicken or something like that, or a paper towel just to really saturate the pan and you want to use Olive oil. The reason you are seasoning your pan with olive oil while your cast-iron skillet is still hot is because it will absorbs all the oil better for the reseasoning of the inside part of your pan, only in the inside of the skillet it will look very wet looking after this, now take and flip the skillet over and finish oiling the whole pan, then place it in the oven for 5-7, now turn off the oven and leave the cast iron skillet in the oven to cool down and that it your DONE. Hope this helped you with your cleaning solutions for your new or existing cast-iron skillet owners.
