The political inspired show, "Aisi, Taisi Democracy" has become very popular. At a nightclub in Gurgaon, more than than 100 people were found to be watching this show. The standup comedian, Sanjay Rajoura says that the concept of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan is nothing but a gimmick. This was referred to the clean India campaign initiated by Narendra Modi. It is very much an oxymoron like "happy marriage", "intellectual Rahul Gandhi" and "Good Taliban". In fact, the audiences cheers loudly and claps at this reference by the comedian. Apart from Sanjay Rajoura, there are contributions from writer cum lyricist Varun Grover and singer cum musician Rahul Ram.

Together they have made this show highly popular and acceptable among the masses in India. This 90 minute show is a combination of stand-up comedy, songs and story-telling. It not only talks about different politicians, but also parodies different Bollywood numbers to reflect the bizarre experience of the Indian life. The aim is to offer a solid critique to the concept of democracy that exists in India. The group debuted last year, and they have just started off with the second season. The show is held at Gurgaon, and further performances are planned for Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi over the next few months.

There is no fixed issue of this show. They have made fun of the recent ban on porn sites, fashionable diets and health food fads. Apart from that, they also seem to talk about the selfie mania and Mr. Modi's monogrammed suit, which is one of the most controversial topics of all. They say that this bizarre country comprises of thousands of prejudices. Had it not been funny, the country would have been filled with sadness. Grover added that the aim of the show is to expose the darkest secrets of the nation through different forms of political humor and songs.

Grover also said that they do lots of political contents in a country like India where people are always ready to take some offence. Therefore, in such a scenario, it is encouraging for them to see the audiences applauding. Ram also claims that it is indeed a very popular political show. They always draw inspiration from the events that take place every time in this amazing democracy. He even sings a song to indicate that the enemy lives across the border, but by looking closely, the enemy looks just like any other human being.

In the recent years, political satire has been growing immensely popular and it tries to tickle the funny bones of India. However, most of the stand-up comedy shows aim to tickle by poling fun at the regional differences, marital issues, families and accents. However, the latest show draws its inspiration from politics because it is a never-ending source of inspiration.
