India tour of Australia in 2016 (T-20 series)

Australia has always been a tuff completion for Indian cricket team. The fun and excitement in the stadium during the match of these two teams is ultimate. Before the end of the year 2015 it was decided that India will be going on a tour to Australia in the first month. We all know that the first series was in ODI (One day International) format. 5 match series was played and the result was in favor of Australia. Framing the whole series at 4-1, Australia proved that they are the champions.

T-20 series was the next big thing to come. 1st T-20 India vs Australia at Adelaide Oval started at 08:38 AM GMT. Indian team was very well prepared to hit the host back with a greater force. And they did it really well. India won the first match at Adelaide Oval from 37 runs. Viratkohli smashed 91 runs and was awarded as Man of the match. From Australian squad Shane Watson took two wickets. JaspriBumraha new face in Indian cricket team came up with excellent bowling skill in his debut international T-20 and took 3 wickets. Both the teams performed really well but it was India who had the last laugh. But it was still not decided that who will lift the trophy! In this excitement to know the result of series everyone assembled again for the next match on 29th January at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

2nd T-20 match also started at 08:38 AM GMT. Australia won the toss and opt to bowl with a hope of stopping India in early hundreds which they really couldn't. The bats of Kohli and Rohitsharma contributed well and Indian innings were concluded at 184/3 (20 overs.) Aaron Finch showed up some great batting skills and gave a great starting to his team. With a strike rate of 154 he smashed 8 fours and 2 sixes and then became a victim of RavindraJadeja as he was declared run out on 74. With the dismissal of Finch no one in the squad of host could stay for long at the crease. Fall of wickets started at a high speed and whole team was terminated at 157 and India recorded their second win. Now the team who was supposed to lift the cup was decided but a match was still remaining. Viratkohli smashed 59 runs and was awarded as Man of the match.
