Most deli meat is high in sodium. The healthiest in terms of sodium content is once again turkey with 213 mg of sodium per ounce. Pastrami and Bologna are next with 248 mg and 302 mg respectively. Bologna contains 302 mg while ham contains 365 mg of sodium. Surprisingly chicken breast comes second to last with 374 mg of sodium, and salami brings up the end once again with 529 mg of sodium per slice. These numbers are certainly something to consider when looking at the overall health content of your lunch meat.
