How is the right way to test batteries?

A smartphone without a battery is like a time machine without a 1.21-gigawatt nuclear power source. In other words, it is useless – the battery is what provides that magic juice every smartphone needs to operate.    Unfortunately, even if you take good care of your smartphone's battery, it will inevitably degrade over time and lose some of its charge capacity. At that point, it might be hard to tell if the cell is still in good health or in need of a replacement. That's why we thought we'd share a few tips on the matter.

TEST WAYS:

RESISTANCE &VOLTAGE TEST

Select Static Parameter Settings, check the displayed value.According to HCQS standard :Resistance value should be less than 150mΩ.Voltage value should be greater than 3.7V.

CHARGING TEST

Select Charging Function and set the parameter.Start charging to see if it can work properly.

CAPACITY TEST

▼ Check the Battery Current Capacity and Energy Capacity on the label. ▼ Then select Battery Capacity Test and set the parameters. ▼ (1). Fully discharge; (2). Recharge; ( 3). Fully discharge again. ▼ Record the Discharge Current Capacity and Discharge Energy Capacity values displayed. HCQS capacity standard : Deviation ±10%

DROP TEST

Get the battery fully charged and stand for 30 minutes,drop it down to a 18~22mm plank at the height of1 meter. Check if the battery is malfunction or hasany damage on the appearance.

Not all phones have batteries that can be easily inspected by the user. If that's the case with your handset, you can diagnose the health of its cell by monitoring how fast its charge level drops.
