Enforcement of Law and Order, peace and harmony is the prime role of the Police in the Society.
The Dubai Police Force under above instructions as such is actively working efficiently in maintenance of peaceful Law and Order in its jurisdiction with confidence and vigor.
The Law breakers are being apprehended strongly and brought to justice.The Honorable Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE under his recent directive measures and reforms for the Police has guide lined the smooth Functioning of Police System In the Country.
He is actively working to bring the State among one of the 10 happiest cities of the World by year 2021.
Surveys from country people are being conducted to welcome their updates in the new scenario.
More recently the force has taken on the task of working to make Dubai better by improving the quality of life. Under the direction of the most excellent Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and Ruler of Dubai, the police force is expanding its role.
Sheikh Maktoum is striving to make Dubai one of the 10 happiest cities in the world by 2021. Surveys ask people if they are happy or sad in our city. If they are not happy, some will be contacted by the police force to find out why they are unhappy.
This is something more law enforcement agencies should consider. Our police often encounter people during unfortunate circumstances. They do an excellent job of intervention at the time. They also see things that need to be addressed, which can be passed on to those in a position to act.
Maj. Gen. Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Dubai's police chief is directing his officers to to gently ask if there is a problem. Officers will bring reports to the General where they will be sorted. The police force will work with other government officials to address any true needs revealed by these surveys.
