Dreams, sometimes good, sometimes bad. What are these dreams? And why do they come?

Well, according to the scientists, there are still things that have to be known how the brain creates the dreaming consciousness and the waking consciousness.Scientists research states that dreaming occurs primarily in REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Sleep, when the brain is very active. REM sleep occurs every 90-100 minutes, three to six times a night. You are conscious in your dreams in basically the same way you are conscious in real life, but you don't remember dreams as well because memory processing is down.

Exam dreams or test dreams are also common types of dreams which usually occur in kids or children in high school, or in students doing their graduation, or also in adults before any sort of an exam. These dreams can occur at any point of time, and can be frightening for most of the people. In children, who are at school these dreams may occur due to their unpreparedness, in adults, it might occur due to their anxiety associated with taking the exam.

As graduate students, these dreams generally occur because sometimes we expect too much from ourselves, and then there is a fear of failure. At times we are not prepared thoroughly for an exam, and we have the fear of not passing the exam. All these anxieties are building up in our subconscious mind which leads to various types of dreams.
