Salman Khan did his debut movie in the year 1989 which was a supporting role in a family drama Biwi ho to aisi (Famous hit movie). After that he got a great breakthrough role in SoorajBarjatya's blockbuster romance Maine PyarKiya, for which he earned a nomination for theFilmfare Award for Best Actor.

Salman did all the genres of the movie like family drama, comedy, melodramatic thriller, musical drama, romantic drama, action thriller, historical, etc. Salman Khan did his debut for the television shows by hosting two seasons of his first show "10 kadum." Dabangg was definitely a mile stone in his career. Dabangg was an action thriller movie and was a hit on box-office. After playing as a RAW agent in "EkTha Tiger" he started working on next part of his series entitled as Dabangg 2. Then Salman Khan did the hosting in two big ceremonies that was, Star guild awards in the year 2013 and 2014. His 2015 film, the comedy drama BajrangiBhaijaan became his eighth film to gross over 1 billion at the box-office.
Salman Khan is undoubtedly the biggest superstar of Bollywood and he is always found in controversies when it comes to marriage.
