Vishal's latest Tamil flick, Paayum Puli is dubbed in Telugu as Jayasurya. Directed by Suseenthiran, this movie has hit the screens today. Let's see how it is.

Story: -

Jayasurya (Vishal) is a dedicated police officer who is appointed as ACP Guntur on a particular task. He began his mission to pin a fearsome gang that threatens local businessmen. One day, he meets Soumya (Kajal Aggarwal) and falls for her.As time passes, the father of Soumya is suddenly killed by a powerful politician named Siva (Samuthirakani). Who is this Siva? Why has it killed the father of Sowmya? and What it has to do with Jayasurya? For answers to these questions, you need to watch the movie on the big screen.

Plus Points: -

Vishal gives a power packed performance which is the main highlight of the film. He wears good emotions through the film and displays superb energy levels during action episodes. Soori, who played the sidekick Vishal, lends good support and decent evokes laughter with his funny dialogues.Despite a time of lower screen, Kajal Aggarwal and glamor quotient is a big attraction in the film. role Samuthirakani has good variations and he did a fabulous job as the antagonist. The interval block is executed quite well and the second half is filled with a few scenes of commitment that will have a good effect on the public.

Negative points: -

The first half of the film is a little disappointing that the film takes place with narration scoreless until the block between. Displaced songs and many unwanted scenes test the patience of the audience. Some characters in the film have not strengthening and can be easily edited on. Many scenes lack the intensity that is a must for this type of film. There is no entertainment in the second half is a new setback for the film. The highlight of the film is drawn a bit and could have been provided with at least fifteen minutes to make the film endearing. The predictable plot is also a big disadvantage for the film.

Technical aspects :-

D.Imman did a splendid job with his background score but his music did not suit the Telugu nativity. Image Velraj is nice. Anthony assembly is not up to the mark as many scenes could have been removed. dialogues written by Shashank Vennelakanti are good and suit the mood of the film.Work and Suseenthiran script direction are OK, but it does not hurt succeeds in treating scenario. It would have worked more on storytelling to make this film a little startling.

Verdict: -

Overall, Jayasurya is interesting that in snatches. Vishal powerful performance, interval and some interesting scenes in the second half are essential assets. But the first half and some annoying unwanted scenes spoil the flow of the film and make Jayasurya just an action drama below average.
