Wait for eye contact with her and then move. Do not run up to her, but do not let yourself think to much about it either. Walk up with her seeing you and never be the one who detaches the eye contact. Eye contact releases endorphins in the brain that trigger the flight or fight mechanism. If she looks away she got shy and is waiting for you to give her a chance. If she keeps staring then you've got an up and coming star on your hands; she is going to want that spot light bad enough to take it from you so be careful. Remember you're the lead actor and the lead actor is in control of the spot light. If things go well and you stay in control, you're going to have one hell of a night. If things start getting out of hand with her and she is trying to become the star, break it off and go back to the stand ins that you where reciting your lines with. She has to learn that the spot light only follows you.
