The epoxy paints are two component system that consist epoxy resins as base component and two epoxy group molecules to react with hardeners providing a tough, in fusible, irreversible three dimensional, thermoset film of epoxy paints over the concrete.
These epoxy paints have nice decorative appeals, good adhesion for different substrate, flexibility and abrasion resistance.

Installation uniqueness
For the installation methodology of epoxy paints at Acrylicon, expert developed protocol is followed that involves various steps. Firstly, the substrate is completely cleaned by removing dirt, oil, grease or any kind of primer affecting material. The derusting chemicals are applied over substrata then to allow proper degreasing and cleaning. The surface is made rough for application of primer. The primer coat is applied and left for drying overnight. This process is followed by application of epoxy paints mixture with combination described above. The base component and hardeners are allowed to mix well and then applied over primer coat. This epoxy paints coating are repeated as per client requirements of thickness, design, glossiness and slippage resistance. Finally, the last epoxy paints coat is allowed to dry overnight with no footfall for 2-3 days making complete solution for flooring system.
Limitation
Epoxy paints can show yellowish development in temperature above 150 º C as well as chalking defect in direct sunlight.
