Some wellness coaches have developed a program which is helpful in reducing stress in the body, breath, and mind. These trainers believe that Asana develops coping skills with a small daily routine of exercise, breathing, and meditation. some exercises which are practiced daily are helpful in regulating he breath and relax the body by gently releasing tension from the large muscle groups, flushing all parts of the body and brain with fresh blood, oxygen, and other nutrients, and increasing feelings of well-being.

Well, here are some Asanas of Yoga that are helpful in relieving yourself from stress:

  • Pranayama :-> It is the exercise in which nothing but your respiratory systems does the magic. All you have to do is close one of your nostrils and inhale and then close the other nostril and exhale. Repeat this process for ten to fifteen minutes daily. One important thing to be kept in mind is, focus nowhere but on your breath. You shall slowly and gradually feel that there is inner peace setting in your mind and body.
  • Bitilasana :-> In this exercise one must bent on his knees and com in the pose of a cow. Align your wrists directly under the shoulders and knees under the hips and then while you inhale, pull the spine upwards making in and convex arch. The moment you exhale, push your spine downwards making a concave arch. This exercise massages and stimulates organs in the belly, like the kidneys and adrenal glands, and creates emotional balance.
  • Uttana Shishosana :-> This is one of the simplest exercises of all. What you need to is just sit on your knees and straighten up your spine, stretch your arms and try to touch your nose to the ground without bending the spine. This exercise calms the mind and invigorates the body. This pose also relieves symptoms of chronic stress, tension, and insomnia.
